Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of The Republic of Yemen in Austria, Vienna.
I have had the honor and privilege by our president, Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi, to be accorded and appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to Austria and the Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international organizations since January 2017.
The confidence given to me comes with great responsibility as the people in Yemen are encountering several challenges and the most difficult times; hence it is my greatest pride and honor to serve the people of Yemen by intensifying my efforts and that of the delegations’ to acquire all the support available from the Austrian authorities as well as the United Nations organizations and other international entities to help enhance the situation in Yemen.
Our main goal is to reinforce further bonds of friendship and bilateral relationship with different parties to attain a strong partnership in the field of educational scholarships, humanitarian aid including medical supplies and equipment and development assistance including political and economic support. We are keen to develop a relationship which would contribute to stronger cultural approaches by participating in exhibitions and issuing publications to showcase Yemen heritage.
Throughout all the efforts we have been working on, I am certain that the partnership between the two countries and the United Nations organizations would foster in overcoming the current challenges Yemen is facing.
The embassy staff and I are more than happy to help answer your questions and assist with any consular service you may require. It is our honor to welcome you at the Embassy and hear your ideas, suggestions and ambitions to making Yemen peaceful and productive.
I invite you to explore the website and I hope it would be an easy guide for information you’re looking for.
