Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization

In September 30, 1996 the Republic of Yemen signed the Convention to become an official signatory to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) Treaty.

The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen and the Permanent Mission to UNO And International Organizations in Vienna participates in all meetings and activities of the organization as part of the efforts to work toward the abolition nuclear tests to ensure international peace and security; consequently, the Republic of Yemen benefits from the scientific activities and technical cooperation provided by the Organization to Member States.

The national focal point for the organization in Yemen, represented by the National Center for the Monitoring and Study of Seismology and Volcanoes in Yemen, is linked to the International Data Center, which is managed by the Organization in Vienna.
